Knightsbridge, London, 25th June: Tesla launches its UK arm, the first of the european dealerships. No mention of the new S model, but a refreshed red Roadster with new carbon bonnet loovers and mildy improved performance breaks cover. Luckily for yellowwheels, three other roadsters are on hand for a bit of visitor interaction. One of them sports big yellow leather inserts in its predominantly black interior giving us a slightly tenuous excuse to bring you some goregeous photos.

Update: there will be a Brabus Tesla Roadster going up the hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend 3-5th July

Right hand drive is the big story of the launch. Expect rollout in the first quarter of 2010. The Roadster Sport packs a power upgrade from 248bhp to 288bhp and a consequent shaving of 0-60 mph time to 3.7 secs.
